NRC Sponsored Training for Agreement State Staff

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission provides assistance to the Agreement States by providing training classes (at no charge) and funding for the associated travel. Information needed for participation in the training program is provided below.

 


Posted Changes to FY 2009 and FY 2010 Courses
11/18/09 Introductory Health Physics (H-117) : originally scheduled for November 8-12, 2010 is being rescheduled to September 13-17, 2010.
If you have submitted applications for the original November course please resubmit an application for the September 13-17, 2010 course.
10/23/09 Transportation of Radioactive Materials course : LOCATION CHANGE: The April 19-23, 2010 course has been changed from Lathrop, CA to Richland, WA .
Any one that has registered for this course will automatically be moved to the new location.
08/05/09 Another Transportation of Radioactive Materials Course (H-308) : has been scheduled for October 5-9, 2009 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
06/29/09 Introductory Health Physics (H-117) : LOCATION CHANGE: November 16-20, 2009 course has been changed from Bethesda, MD to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
06/26/09 Another Introductory Health Physics (H-117) : November 16-20, 2009 in Bethesda, MD.
06/17/09 Another Nuclear Medicine Course (H-304) : November 2-6, 2009 in Houston, Texas.
Another Brachytherapy & Gamma Knife Course (H-313) : December 7-11, 2009 in Houston, Texas
05/05/09 Gas & Oil Well Logging Course : Dates changed to November 16-20, 2009. The original dates were changed due to a Federal Holiday. Anyone who has submitted an application will need to resubmit another application with the new dates to Brenda.Usilton@nrc.gov or fax it to (301) 415-3502.
03/04/09 Well Logging Course (H-314): class scheduled on November 9-13, 2009 in Houston, TX.
03/04/09 Licensing Practices and Procedures Course (G-109): another class scheduled on September 28-October 2, 2009 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
02/26/09 Transportation of Radiation Course (H-308): will be held in Chattanooga, TN on September 14-18, 2009.

Basic Health Physics (H-122): another class added to be held on August 24-September 4, 2009 in Oak Ridge, TN.
