07/18/08 H-308: The September 8-12, 2008 class for Chattanooga, TN is cancelled. It is rescheduled for October 20-24, 2008.

06/25/08 Root Cause Workshop (G-205): additional courses have been added:
- August 4-8, 2008 in King of Prussia, PA
- September 8-12, 2008 in Atlanta, GA
- September 8-12, 2008 in Arlington, TX

05/20/08 Another Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine course (H-304) is scheduled for August 11-15, 2008 in Houston, TX.
Another Brachytherapy & Gamma Knife course (H-313) will be held September 15-19, 2008 in Houston, TX

04/16/08 Another Introductory Health Physics Course (H-117) is scheduled for September 8-12, 2008 in Topeka, KS. Anyone registered for the first H-117 in Bethesda, MD should re-register for the September course so that we know you will be able to attend on those particular dates.

03/31/08 On March 31, 2008, Pennsylvania became the 35th Agreement State.
03/13/08 Basic Health Physics Technology Course(H-122): has been scheduled for August 4-15, 2008 in Oak Ridge, TN. If you're interested in attending this course please submit your training application to Brenda Usilton via e-mail at BGU@nrc.gov or fax to (301) 415-3502.
03/11/08 Introductory to Health Physics Course(H-117): July 7-11, 2008, is already filled with 24 NRC people. Another class, hosted by Kansas, will be scheduled in the near future. NRC will give all 24 slots for that course to the States. If you have sent in a registration for this course I will keep them on file, but once I announce the new dates for this course you will need to have your staff submit new applications indicating they can attend those dates that are scheduled. The same rule will apply to new applications received. I will need a resubmittal once I announce the course dates.

01/22/08 Gas and Oil Well Logging course (H-314) changed to November 3-7, 2008. All applications that have been submitted to date will be automatically changed to the new date. 11/29/07 Safety Aspects of Industrial Radiography (H-305): 3 new classes added. They are scheduled for:
March 31-April 4, 2008
June 23-27, 2008 and
October 20-24, 2008.
They are all being held in St. Rose, Louisiana. If you are interested in attending any of these courses please send Brenda Usilton your training application either to BGU@nrc.gov or fax it to (301) 415-3502. If sending more than one application for the same course please make sure you prioritize who goes first. Please make sure you use the new training application that was sent out earlier this year. The Nuclear Medicine courses are scheduled for March 24-28, 2008 and July 27-August 1, 2008 in Houston, TX.

The Brachytherapy & Gamma Knife courses are scheduled for March 31-April 4, 2008 and August 4-8, 2008 also in Houston, TX.

There are only 16 slots per course. If you had previously submitted a training application for this course when it had no date assigned to it, you need to resubmit a training application with the date you would like to attend the course.

Another Root Cause Workshop has been scheduled for March 17-21, 2008 in Richland, Washington. If you're interested in attending any of these courses please submit your training application to Brenda Usilton via e-mail at BGU@nrc.gov or fax it to (301) 415-3502.

H-201 Health Physics Technology: There will also be an additional course added which will be held August 6-17, 2007 in Chattanooga, TN. There is no tuition cost to attend this course.
